"Midori's playing is technically spotless, she stands out for her fine, slender and cultivated tone, she plays in a very withdrawn, strikingly unobtrusive manner and adjusts to the chamber music. Her phrases are very carefully realised, she avoids exaggerating the articulation. Everything has its place, the musical conversation is eloquent, polished and well-balanced (...) After the interval the three "Myths" by Szymanowsky followed, three mythological scenes with impressionistic sound effects, with beguilingly beautifully held long lines and opalescent flagolett-effects, that revealed a colourful, while at the same time very tender, delicacy."
