Fort Worth Symphony discourages the use of plastic water bottles

Schoolchildren filled the seats of Bass Hall in Fort Worth Texas for Midori’s dress rehearsal of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and its Music Director Miguel Harth-Bedoya.

Midori was impressed with the contents of the note she found from Harth-Bedoya in her dressing room on her arrival. In their attempt to achieve a goal of “Zero Waste”, the Orchestra is encouraging everyone to avoid using plastic disposable water bottles and to drink from a glass or a reusable container and filtered water instead, which they provided.
