Midori begins a European recital tour on March 10th

Midori and pianist Özgür Aydin perform works by Liszt, Elgar, Schoenberg and Richard Strauss in a European recital tour taking in London, Vienna and Berlin, among other cities. A second program in Vienna features works by contemporary composers including Iannis Xenakis, Stephen Hartke and Kaija Saariaho.

On the first day of the tour Midori was interviewed in Munich by radio station BR Klassik. You can read and listen to the interview here.

The Wigmore Hall recital is being recorded by the BBC for transmission on Monday 14th March at 7:30 p.m. on Radio 3 in Concert
