Midori joins panel discussion on cultural diplomacy

Midori appeared on a panel at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington, D.C. to discuss ways in which cultural diplomacy can help better address today’s most pressing global challenges. The event, which took place on May 8th 2017, was moderated by Dr. Kent E. Calder, Director of the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies and Director of Asia Programs at Johns Hopkins SAIS.

Also on the panel were Jeffrey Brez, Chief of NGO Relations, Advocacy and Special Events in the Department of Public Information, United Nations; Ashlee George, Executive Director of the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP); and Evan Ryan, Executive Vice President, Axios.
