Short documentary on Midori can be viewed online until August 16th

NHK World TV has produced a 12-minute English language documentary about Midori.

Music is Always with Us traces Midori’s career and shows her performing the Preludio from the Partita No. 3 in E Major for solo violin by J.S. Bach in June at a shelter for victims of the Kumamoto Earthquake, which took place in April of this year. We also see her with disabled students, ICEP Quartet members and volunteers from Music Sharing in a performance of “MIDORI Song” by the Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi at the National Art Center in Tokyo.

The link will be active until August 16th 2016.
