Sony Classical releases The Art of Midori

On 5 February 2016 Sony Classical released The Art of Midori, a 10-CD set containing some of Midori’s most important recordings for the label.

In addition to concerto recordings with the New York Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta, the Berlin Philharmonic and Claudio Abbado, the NDR Symphony Orchestra and Christoph Eschenbach and the Berlin Philharmonic and Mariss Jansons, the set contains recordings with Midori’s longtime piano partner Robert McDonald, including their debut recording Live at Carnegie Hall and their popular recital album Encore! All the CDs feature the original cover artwork.
